China .5mm
Cord from China is slightly thicker than .5mm measuring closer to .6mm  It has a beautiful grit to it, easy to braid and has a little bit of shine to it.
Colors can vary from dye lot to dye lot and size can vary slightly as well which is common with this type of cord so please purchase accordingly.

Tawain .5mm
This cord is from Tawain and measures closer to the true .5mm.  It is thinner than the China .5mm and is more flexible.  It is easy to braid with,  has a tighter weave and is slightly less shiny.  Colors do not vary as much from dye lot to dye lot and size is more consistent from roll to roll.
